High-quality self-adhesive (glue on the back) film comes from a global manufacturer of advertising, window and car films - ORACAL. This is an original product with the manufacturer's logo on the backing paper.

It is a transparent, shiny PVC film with a thickness of 80 microns. The thickness of the film guarantees very good thermoplastic properties and protects the lamp from damage (sand, stones, street dirt). The shelf life of a properly applied film is 5 years.

The foil does not have an additional protective layer and is prone to scratches.

Foil is supplied in a roll with a width of 33cm. When you purchase foil, you will receive the following dimensions:

  • 1 piece: 33 x 50 cm
  • 2 pieces: 33 x 100 cm
  • 3 pieces: 33 x 150 cm
  • 4 pieces: 33 x 200 cm
    etc.

Assembly instructions: The foil can be applied dry or wet. We recommend wet application because it is easier. It allows you to move the foil on the lamp and facilitates the removal of air bubbles. Wet foil can be applied with a solution of demineralized water with a few drops of J&J baby shampoo, demineralized water and isopropyl alcohol in a 1:1 ratio or demineralized water and a specialized fluid for wet foil application.

  • To attach the foil, you will need a sharp knife, a heat gun, a surface degreaser (e.g. IPA) and a squeegee.
  • Before wrapping, carefully degrease all elements to maintain good adhesion of the foil to the substrate.
  • We measure and cut the appropriate piece of foil, leaving a few centimeters of space on each side, which will make application easier.
  • Spray the lamp with the previously prepared application liquid.
  • We remove the adhesive protective layer and apply the foil to the lamp, positioning it so that we get an allowance on each side.
  • Smooth it with a squeegee, starting from the center and working towards the edges, pushing out air bubbles.
  • During installation, the foil should be heated, which will improve its plasticity and adhesion when covering profiled elements.
  • After wrapping, wrap the foil around the covered item and cut off the excess.
