Application:

Bonifix TAP is a one-component solvent-based contact adhesive intended for professional use in the furniture industry. Recommended for furniture production and repair of upholstered furniture, foam mattresses and furniture elements.

It is used to glue foam, non-woven fabric and upholstery batting, upholstery fabric (natural leather, synthetic leather and upholstery fabric), felt and coconut mats to each other and to wood, chipboard, fiberboard or cardboard.

How to use:

Bring Bonifix TAP and bonded materials to a temperature of min. 15°. The surfaces should be dry, degreased, clean and dust-free. Shake before use. Spray evenly in a thin layer from a distance of 10-20 cm onto both surfaces to be bonded. Apply the adhesive in such a way that when joining materials, one element has adhesive applied vertically and the other horizontally (the adhesive layers should cross each other in the joint). To achieve maximum joint strength, the edges of the joined materials should be covered exactly with adhesive. On absorbent surfaces (e.g. leather, rubber, etc.), apply the adhesive twice. Wait approx. 2-5 minutes, connect the bonded elements and press evenly. The use of pressure, rolling or hammering significantly improves adhesion. It is recommended to roughen the smooth surfaces of the joined elements before bonding, and metal surfaces should be derusted and sandblasted. The joint achieves full strength after 24 hours.
